I finally plucked up the courage to actually use my MEG Diana+ camera... and was rather pleased that most of the pictures actually came out ok!
These ones are my faves, but if you click through to my flickr album, you'll see the rest in their lomo-random glory. If anyone can explain the 'red ghost' who pops up on a few (is it my finger in front of the lens? is it some weirdness in the camera? it is made of red plastic... or is it @TheOrdsallGhost?!) I would appreciate it!
Look out for further adventures with my MEG's Peppermint Mask Filter and “Nobody Knows How to Talk to Children” Ringflash.

Harrogate (with squirrel)
Not claiming these are the most artistic pictures I've ever taken, but had a bit of fun chasing this little fella round with a camera!

Harrogate (without squirrel)
Dragging my blog, kicking and screaming, out of its hibernation because, January 2012 has blessed me with free time - to be used taking pictures and blogging them. Hurrah!
So here are some fruits of my first foray of the new year, taken with EOS 400D digital on a rare fine day in Harrogate (well I say rare - maybe it's always nice in Harrogate, but the same can certainly not be said for Manchester). Most of the rest of the pictures I took were of a squirrel, but they shall appear as their own little series in the next post - can you contain your excitement?!
P.S. I resisted the urge to buy some vintage loveliness from Space and Sissy Jupe but suspect a return visit may be in order when I have money to spend.
